Q: What Credit Cards do you accept?
A: We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover. All transactions are processed securely, off-site by Authorize.net. MilitaryHouseHunt.com neither obtains nor retains any credit card information in its records. Sorry, we do not accept American Express at this time.

Q: How much does it cost to register?
A: Nothing. Registration is FREE. Registration is required to list ads and essential for agents who can benefit tremendously from being part of the "Agent Search" feature of MilitaryHouseHunt.com
Q: Do I have to register to use the site?
A: No. You can browse and search ads without registering. You should still register, to save time, as the site will remember various preferences for you. If you want to create ads, you will need to register. Registration is FREE. Registratino really offers a great advantage to agents as it places you in the "Search for Agent" results.

Q: How Much Do Ads Cost?
A: ALL standard ads in our site are FREE 21 days or longer depending on the region! Additional days and add-on features such as photos are very affordable. You can run your add until sold (up to 365 days) for one low price. Agents interested in running multiple ads can save big bucks by purchasing a subscription.
Q: How Long Does an Ad Run?
A: Each ad runs from 15 days to 365 days depending on the plan you choose.
Creating and Managing Ads

Q: Do I Have to Register to Create Ads?
A: Yes. You must be a registered user to create ads. Registration is free. This is to ensure our customer's protection. It is our goal to provide the most reliable service to our customers and in order to eliminate fraud and abuse, we require registration through an e-mail address.
Q: I created an ad, but it does not show up in search results. Why?
A: You need to run your ad. Go to My Account and click on Run ad to the left of the ad you wish to run. The system will ask for your credit card information, and your ad will run as soon as your payment is processed. If you saved your ad as "draft", it will not run. Also, in some cases,ads need to be reviewed and approved by our staff. This could take up from a few minutes to a few hours to complete. This process is in place to protect our customers from fraud, abuse, and misuse of the site.
Q: I sold/rented my home. How do I stop my ad from running?
A: From the My Account page, click on the "Stop" link to the left of the ad.
Q: What Category Should I Put My Ad In?
A: Try to find the category that most closely applies to the property. If you don't see a category that fits, please choose "other."
Q: What region should I put my ad in?
A: The region your propery is located in. Try to find the military base closest to the property location. By default the region will be the region you specified on your profile when you registered, but you can change this at any time.
Q: Will my ad be visible in other regions?
A: Yes. WORLDWIDE!!! All ads are visible in all regions. The system will, however, always show a person ads in their specified region first, then ads from outside their region.
Privacy

Q: I don't want my name, phone number or email address to appear on your site. What should I do?
A: You can have all your personal information remain private. Update your personal privacy preferences from the My Account page.
Q: If all my information is private how can a buyer contact me?
A: When your ad appears, instead of showing your contact information the following appears: "This seller has chosen to remain private. You may contact this seller via anonymous email by clicking here." The prospective buyer completes an on-line form and the system sends you an email without revealing your information to the prospective buyer.

Q: How Do Regions Work?
A: MilitaryHouseHunt.com covers the entire U.S. as well as certain foreign countries. All states and any city with a population of 100,000 or more is listed as a region. When you register or create ads, you select a region. When you browse ads, ads in your region will be shown first. When you search for ads, ads in your region will be shown first.
Q: I don't see my city or base listed. What region should I choose?
A: Choose the city or military base closest to you or the state you live in. Please inform us so we can add your city or base to our program.
